Sad to say the trip was not good at all, Guess I should have check ed the moon as well as the weather? Current was ripping, Started with 12oz. and actually had to go up to 18-20 oz. Caught a few short Rare SeaBass & that kind of shows the water was still warm enough but the Toggies just weren't up to fighting that current for a meal. Total boat skunk, not that Capt. Monty didn't give it his best effort.

Can't catch 'em here on the internet, so I'm still glad I made the effort & will head back down when I get a better chance.

On the up-side, I did manage to sell a few Tog Hoodies & T-shirts!

I was there, never did spot you Reelron. I was the guy in the funny hat. Long slow boat ride for close to 3 hours, effort was there but not the hungry tog I was hoping for. But like you said, at least we tried. Better than surfing the net all day.

You looks great on those hats, zero fish on the boat but still better then surfing internet for sure, thats why it call fishing not catching. I lease you had good time on the boat as I see smile on your face..maybe see you on tile fishing again, like we did good on last fall......

Yea, I was talking to the mate, Wes, about my new rod. I told him your brother built the rod & mentioned that you would be on the trip Monday. He said Monday ain't gonna happen. I see they did catch some fish on SUnday. I guess we just picked the wrong days?

Opposite sides of the boat. As you can tell, I maintain a very low profile when fishing!
