I use the cloth bags cashews or pistachios come in they have a pull cord, strong and separate the diff. sizes depending on how many bags you have. Besides they don't roll or rust.

Assorted lead in a plastic coffee container with a handle works for me while party boat fishing. On my boat, I keep them sorted by size in plastic mayonnaise or peanut butter jars, with the weight number on the lid for easy identification. One is also filled with weighted trebles for those bunker snagging days, keeps the hooks from sticking everything.

Second the pool bucket, I use a three gallon with a screw on lid, can leave it on deck in any sea. I would caution agains a chlorine one as any residual will rust out your stuff in no time, I use an alkalinity one that sat empty outside for a few months. I used to use the one with the snap off lid but I like the screw off ones better.
Inside the bucket I use a second smaller bucket I got from somewhere, it is square in shape. This leaves room around the outside of it for plyers, hooks, mono, and some jigs.

While we are on the subject of carrying fishing stuff I also want to say I hate it when people load up the seating with duffle bags and other stuff.

I can carry enough for most every trip in the bucket, add a small cooler for lunch and a big wheeled cooler for fish and I am set. So many guys change into their fishing gear in the cabin and it is probably why there are so many bags in there. Why not do it at the car when boarding and leave the benches and tables free for their intended use? I understand if there is a chance of rain having an extr bag or if it's an overnight trip but inshore trips? Maybe it is just me who thinks it's such overkill?

I do or did this too on our boat till we sold it. Now on various PB's or 6-pack charters, I use a couple marked plastic jars in a 5 gal bucket or inside a large canvas tool bag, or a SWS bag.
I think I'll switch to the plastic coffee container w/ assorted weights. Thanks.

I have used a mini canvas tote bag made by LL Bean for over 25 years to carry my sinkers for togging and fluking and over time I have been told by many other fishers how neat and useful it appears for that purpose. It may be a little pricey for some to acquire initially, but considering how long I have used it ((still in great shape yet) it has served me well! Has handles to carry,is impervious to salt water,doesn't slide around, mar or damage boat finish.

plastic laundry detergent or softener container. They come in all sorts of sizes. Heavy plastic with a big handle. Just cut the mouth larger to get the lead in.

Small soft 6 or 8 pack cooler..Holds a lot of sinkers plus a few rigs and maybe even a few cans of your favorite brew.After you lose all the sinkers and rigs and drink the brew it doubles as a cooler for the filets from your one blackfish you caught:D
