Decided to up my game a bit and take a pic in NJ territory and so that the Costas could truly be seen. A shot from Manasquan Inlet....lots of tough competition here.....

I have to submit the photo of my new fishing partner my black lab named Mako. I wanted to try to put my pair of fantail costas on him on a sunny day to see how he would do with them and I was able to take multiple pictures and he never tried to throw them off he actually seemed to like the eye protection from bright sun. I would love if costa would develop a line of sunglasses for our four legged family members that join us on the water. I believe that protecting there eyes is as important as protecting mine from suns harmful rays. If i win I will pick out a pair that fit him best and do any slight modification or add straps to help them stay on him through the day on the water.

This a a great picture of your new fishing buddy Mako with your Costa's on. He definitely looks comfortable with them on. I could not agree with you more about protecting your four legged baby's eyes. It would be great if Costa would develop a sunglass line and I will pass that recommendation along to my rep. There is another company that makes sunglasses for dogs and I do carry them in my store. They are called Doggles. They come in five different sizes and the lenses are shatterproof, anti fog and provide UV protection. In addition they keep sand, dirt, debris etc... from getting in your dogs eyes. I recently got a puppy and felt the same as you so I did some research and found this line. They are $24.99 Here is a picture of my Theodore Bear(aka Teddy) sporting Camouflage Doggles in size small. There is a strap that goes under the chin and one that goes behind their head. I was pretty sure he would not keep them on but he seems to really like them. Plus he looks like a bad ass. Jamie - you should remember these two lads when they bought their Costas at your store last winter. John and Hunter are now 10 and 9 and are my main crew on Legacy. Here they are holding matching 27 pound striped bass caught on May 29th helping their grandmother celebrate her 71st birthday.

A great crew deserves great sunglasses. Thanks for helping them select theirs - after a season of hard use they are as good as new.
