Re: 365 Days Of Fishing

I think I'll be okay, but thank you guys. I hope everyone is safe as well. There is actually a "canal" that is 75 yards from my house. My fiancee suggested I fish in there during the storm, but I told her I wasn't going to fish anywhere where there's no fish. When we were on our way out yesterday, I looked down in the canal/drainage ditch and sure enough, there were a bunch of sunnies. I was out this morning (Saturday) and I'm going to wait up until midnight (Sunday) to see if it's safe, but I may wait until the storm passes tomorrow and just walk over. Unless Irene hangs around MUCH longer than expected, she should not kill my streak.

Did you fish the Trout swimming pool?
Nice to meet you today face to face:)
This kid knew how to do it.

Re: 365 Days Of Fishing

Good to meet you face to face as well Wilson. We didn't fish the pool, but that kid did better than we did. The canal usually doesn't get tooooo screwed by the rain, but it was a mess today.

As we get closer to the 365, I'm feeling a little torn. On one hand I'm happy for Catfishonthelake for doing something that I could only wish to do and being so close to the end. But now I sit here and wonder...what am I going to read about now? Hopefully he continues with some sort of blog.

Re: 365 Days Of Fishing

i think there should be some sort of fishing party on his last day with everyone hes fished with over the past year, what a great way to end this

Re: 365 Days Of Fishing

I appreciate all the feedback guys and appreciate the support. Wilson, my dry cleaner will be a bit bummed, but I'll still be putting at least one of his kids through college. I imagine that I won't stop fishing on lunch a couple days a week. And the blog will go on, just not every day. I'm sure I'll still put a post up there once a week. And John, I wish I could, but I have a few busy weekends that might make that tough. Once again guys, I really appreciate the support.
