Hey I also run out of the Highlands and was hoping to get offshore for some Mahi. I have a lot of inshore experience, but new to offshore. I have two other Buddy boats, also new to offshore, hoping to do the same. Of course it's a matter of having the right day and hoping one of them will allow be able to make the run.Message me if your interested.

Mahi check water temps offshore & quality , generally most appear later in season as water gets warmer in hi 70's brings em in closer ! Water quality is also part of equation rich blue is my choice . However any clearer water that has good temps can work . I've always found mid August thru mid Sept good time to start looking in our region . Variables always apply .
