Fluke fishing seems to be picking up from shrewsbury rocks into raritan bay, so trying a boat out of AH is fine. Last time I was out the full day boats were fishing south of the hook, but the belmar boats were fishing up there too, so if you live near middletown and drive to belmar, it didn't make sense. I live nearby so I always hit AH. I personally go on the prowler, it's the fastest boat from dock to grounds and from spot to spot, captains and crew have always been great. You won't go wrong with the angler or fishermen either, capt. george and captain ron are top notch.

cheers
