Re: Where do you get your ice from?
Directions
1.Empty the ice cubes that are left in the trays (if there are any left) into the bin. 2.Take the trays over to the sink and fill them with cold water. 3.Place the water filled ice trays back in the freezer. 4.Replace the ice bin if you had to remove it. 5.Shut the door to the freezer. |

Looking at all these really sharp answers and I can't help but think of the old saying, 'Everybody likes a little ass, but nobody likes a smart ass!"
Not even a mention of Julian's or Atlantic Bait & Tackle? :D |

Re: Where do you get your ice from?
Restaurant Depot sells I think 40lb bags for around 5bucks. For that price it's totally not worth doing half the things the above wise crackers mentioned, lol. I have a big chest freezer, so I get a half a dozen bags whenever I go to RD and fill up the freezer. Lasts me a long time.

Re: Where do you get your ice from?
Instead of ice cubes I fill empty half gallon containers with water and then freeze them. The square large containers from peanuts or cashews from Wegmans or Costco work very well. You get a block of ice that is about 6 inches square. It is much easier to move them to the cooler or boat than cubes.

Re: Where do you get your ice from?
Lobster house down in Cape may folks your cooler (120 qt) for $5. I would think one of the seafood markets up here might do similar. Worth a couple of calls.
