a local pond in my town used to loaded with real nice bass..now its all chocked up with Water Chestnut....very disappointing!

That's very interesting with the grass carp. I wonder if they put them in already. Hopefully the combination of the 2 will help because it really is a nice place and the fish really used to do very well there.
