14 oz weights? i hope your just joking. how deep are they fishing usually. I plan on using bucktails tipped with gulp at the bottom than above that dropper loop with a number 4 circle hook or light bucktail. I always catch fish with this set up. they are just not always keepers. def want to bring some live bait as well. shrimpman good luck let me know how it goes. I saw they have striper trips from 6 pm to 12. might do fluke in morning and than stripers at night

Full moon tides... He's not joking about the 14 oz weights. I'm heading out tomorrow night. Fishing cod sea bass fluke and porgies. Maybe whack some stripers on eels at night, we'll see what the old man wants to do!

Ur still on moon so u may require those heavier weights , I've used BT's to 10oz up there on some days just to hold ! Not always but be prepared or could be long day . :cool:

Changes daily. I fished the south side all day with a three ounces btail in 60 feet of water. I had six keepers to five pounds
