Re: Female-Male Fluke

Shooting unlimited does is implemented to reduce the overall population. It seems to be working just as well on fluke and bass.

I'm just curious, NJ has implemented on the hunting side of things that hunters can shoot an unlimited amount of does (with proper permit). It is to get the male/female ratio more males than females to produce bigger racks on the bucks which definitely seems to have worked. Maybe fluke is just the opposite. Less females more males produce bigger females? Are you guys seeing bigger size fluke showing in your catches?

Unlimited does was implemented to reduce the herds.Antler restriction and reducing bag limits from two to one buck is why we are seeing bigger antlers. With less females in the fish world =less fish of any size.Fish like deer need age to grow big.As was said on another post,we have to take the scientists to court and make them prove there findings. We would need our own scientists to do a study and repute the fisheries management scientists. This would take time and more money then we could raise. We need a turn coat from fisheries management to come on our side and say they were wrong in court. Now that is someone worth ``buying''!!!!!

ntists in the high courts.
