Not to mention you did not ask what we do with our carp so how do you know if they go to waste or not? I totally agree on your views of carp..they fight well and are fun to catch but other then that there worthless.

They are all over. Pick a body water near you and there is a good chance there are carp in it. Passaic River is certainly a good starting point.

Raritan river. Anywhere and everywhere. Can't go 20 feet without spooking one. They're kind of annoying when you're targeting other species. Some big ones too. Some of the biggest fish I've ever seen under the train bridges in Manville.
