Relax. It's already published on the DEP website.

Now it'll never have the trophies again that once inhabited it.

I've heard that lake was amazing back before it was open to the public and people would have to sneak in. But the lake quickly went downhill after the public gained access to it. Now with the stocking and extra publicity, it's going to be a circus.

I've never actually been there, but looking on Google Earth, there appears to be a parking lot close to the water's edge. The state wouldn't stock a lake if it had very limited access.

In my opinion, I'm not sure if growing-out big salmon is the best use of a hatchery's resources. I assume they'll be caught once and kept like every other salmonid the state stocks.

There's a gate that blocks access that only rangers and the state can unlock. That's our only hope that it keeps the *******s out.

It was nice that bass anglers actually had what was once considered a trophy bass lake. But once again, that has to be taken away from us and the bass anglers get it rammed in their asses once again, all for stupid ****ing salmon.

aeroflex is a tuff lake for trout/salmon after its stocked, its 100ft deep in the middle and they spread out. electric only so it keeps alot of people from trolling it w DR and such, so those salmon are somewhat safe. I used to fish it a little years ago and the local club did a great job on the trout, thats gone and so are the nice browns and rainbows that used to be in there. People just cant release these fish to establish a trophy program, and the place is FULL of herring that can feed plenty of trophies

I don't think Tilcon is exactly a secret. I read about the salmon stocking there in the Star Ledger.

It was before the state tried to shove more fish into that tiny lake.

I live close to aeroflex.. happened to stumble across it last year actually, that's when I noticed the landlocked salmon signs. From the info I gathered on the lake, it's very very hard to fish from shore.
