They are basically telling you lay it down on whatever surface u can - like sand or dirt or grass or leaves or boat floor - and measure it. This would be a C&R no-no but they don't seem to get that.

Yes, sent them 3 photos. Two tape measure shots and the above picture as well. Did my best to lay it across my lap/waders with minimal stress on the fish. I would imagine lots of fish end up 'shake n baked' though. Vertically on a boga grip works also but is a nono for bigger Pike/Muskie... |
