Re: Pequest and South Branch 1/13
Not a big fan of trapping, the animal is hung up for hours struggling to get free or till the trapper gets to him.Gun and bow is much more humane. And no I'm not a treehugger!

Trapping is bs in means of survival sure but otherwise against it came across a couple deer pits a few yrs ago a 8ft hole with a chain link fence over deer falls thru and gets stuck fish amd game removed them amd posibly caught the guys who were poaching deer...however nice going on the trout !!!

One of the reasons I will not disparage trapping is it will only serve to stregnthen the enemies of our outdoor heritage. Trapping may be the lowest fruit for the PETA-type groups because it's the hardest to defend in the eyes of the predominant urban/suburban shopping-mall culture in New Jersey, but that doesn't absolve us. Those groups are after us all; hunters, trappers, and fishermen. Animal rights groups like PETA are spending millions on campaigns to convince people that fishing is cruel and turn the tide of public opinion against us. http://media.spokesman.com/photos/20...ark22_t400.jpg http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/ripti...yfrontpark.jpg http://www.anglingmatters.com/images/peta.gif https://wmnf.s3.amazonaws.com/images...large_3443.png http://www.peta.org/wp-content/uploa...llsAnimals.jpg http://media.independent.com/img/cro...oto_1_t479.JPG |
