In addition to the tackle shops there are charter and party boats that offer gift certs also..So stay out of the big box stores and the computer and call your favorite shop or boat and see what they can do for you. Better yet, stop by and see some of the new stock that they now offer...

I have visited some of the sponsors and the what I liked was how well I was treated. I walked into Pete's and I heard someone hey,how you doing? Want some fresh coffee? Then Pete asked how I was. Then what can I help you with, he even taught me how to put a nice rig together.
I had the same treatment at Brielle tackle. They did not have a rod I wanted but had the blank. Set me up with a very nice rod and the price was great. What I am saying is shop where you are welcome not your dollar.

I would like to wish Gerry and everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy Healthy New Year. Hope for nice weather. This coming year will be offer a $50 discount to any member from the NJFishing site for a full day trip . I'm also thinking about running a monthly and yearly pool for the biggest fluke. Any feedback would be appreciated. If that works there could be one for stripers.
