I switch between my Avet SX and my Daiwa Saltist LD30 for blackfish and most other bottom fishing. They are both powerful little reels for the money and have performed flawlessly for me.

Avet SX is a nice light compact reel that I use for all my inshore fishing... Everything from 40 pound Stripers to Fluke and Blackfish.

The Avet is however a lever drag real... So, unlike some of the star drag reels mentioned above, it will take a little geting used to since it will will not automatically engage the drag when you crank the handle. You have to move the lever drag into strike manually.
