Salinity levels are up because our illustrious Governor Jackass Murphy took it upon himself to salt the roads anytime it got under 40 degrees this past winter.

You're right, according to the most recent reports on Monday, there were lots of larger bonito in the Sandy Hook surf the past few days.

I still need to catch one, but I'm more focused on the sharks and rays in the surf down south Jersey.

We had a shot of small blues and a surprise bonito right outside Shark River Inlet Saturday on the way in. They were eating rainfish.
