Re: Njf Meet-n-greet-part 2, January 26th
As of 1700 today, Woodport area of LH not yet safe ice.
I don't think it got out of the the mid-teens here today so that should soon change. Have you guys considered Lees County Park Marina off Howard Blvd ? That might give you better parking area and more room for greeting & tail-gating. Good luck, tight lines, and be safe wherever you guys decide. Tom K. |

Should be out there by 730-8 AM. Hopefully a couple guys show up. For you daring ICE-ANGLERS, just got a call from a fishing buddy of mine. Poxono is locked up with 5 inches of black ice. They got a couple nice EYES this evening. Im not going out there alone unless i'm tied to a tree with heavy parachute cord. Just a thought, if anyone wants to hit POX monday evening, PM me. You want EYES through the ICE, that be the SPOT!!! TIGHT LINES FELLAS!!!:D

Re: Njf Meet-n-greet-part 2, January 26th
So if I got this right Buddy, it's Monksville and you ill be there about 8:00am? I have never been there so here do you get on the reservoir and where would be a place to get bait? I'll be coming down 78 and up 287. Also what would you suggest for bait, this ice fishing is new to me? Thanks for putting this together and hope to see you tomorrow if all goes well.

Franks tackle and Monksville tackle on the left hand side on your way up. First right before the bridge, Beech rd. Take that down to the parking lot on the left. See you out there, its gona be a cold one.
