Did some run and gun in a few diff areas last night of the river to avoid the weeds and leaves in some of my frequented spots. Kept to the path on the lower stretches bobbing and weaving into areas with castable shoreline room. Just rock bass. While walking back to my car I was flipping soft plastics in the canal and whacked this lil bugger. Quick pic and released. Saw some big channels cruising the canal too. Might try that one nite with cut and live bait...

Lol true!
I find it amazing how they make it through those spillways.

I'm guessing this is where the pure strain Muskies are coming from too?

Yes. 340,236 were stocked in the Delaware River in 2016:

Any thing that swims in the Delaware River, also swims in the lower Raritan River.
