A little different twist on Pike fishin` fellas; try chasin` Northern Pike in the Passaic River, with a Fly-Rod while fishin` in a `Yak!

If ya think it`s easy, ya might wanna think again...... Just try navigating around blown-down trees/brush, paddlin` a `Yak in a current AND work a fly-rod while sittin` on your ass all at once.........Quite challenging indeed.

But I got `er done

Then got out the next day for a couple hours and nailed this lil` Gator with a Chatterbait

Hahaha! That's pretty sick! Catching the fish with teeth on the fly has to be exhilarating! Way to GIT-R-DONE Ken! Beautiful toothy specimens! Bet that drag was ripping out pretty good once they realized they were hooked!!!

now that's impressive ken, how are you casting a chatterbait on a fly rod if i tried that my rod would be bent down from the weight. what weight class is your rod and what size is your leader? nice pike as well.

No no icebadger ....... I was fly-fishing for pike on Saturday, then the next day I went back out using the spinner pole.. w/the chatterbait.
