Stepped out back with a jig/grub and got 5 small largemouth in a half hour.
I got 'em slowly jigging bottom, swimming it back at medium speed, and burning it...they were in attack mode. 2 were about 12 inches and jumping, the other 3 were smaller. Didn't see any big fish swimming, but had a blast in the little bit of time I had. https://s3.amazonaws.com/photos.fishidy.com/59cfd91866b01a07b46363b4_800https://s3.amazonaws.com/photos.fishidy.com/59cfd8ef66b01a06b4d3f6b6_800https://s3.amazonaws.com/photos.fishidy.com/59cfd95266b01a07b464bf3c_800

Damn the boulders in that creek. Looks like a trout gorge.

Nice larrys, no smallmouth in there I guess? Usually streams are majority smallmouth compared to largemouth populations, only exception is when smallmouth have no stocking history + damed off from lower sections of the river that might.

It gets the stocked rainbows, plus a river that it springs from gets them too and I'm sure a few of those eventually wind up here. Haven't spotted a smallie, perch or pickerel in there. There's a ton of sunfish, largemouth with the occasional Bubba mixed in, crappie, white suckers, and a few carp.
