From a creek? ~2lbs LMB

So my girl -n- I didn't feel like dragging the boat out recently, so we did a little "run n gun" fishing.... that is.. GPS on, no destination, and watch for legal water ways and hit the shores..or in this case, a road creek... Found some pretty cool stuff lately too..

The little creek gave up this LMB for my girl.... she's elated, no? LOL :D

There's a nice surprise to be found in every creek. It's honestly my preferred water body type.
Where there is one, you bet there's more bass like that.

Indeed fellas... thanks! We sited quite a few in there... wandered up a little and found a small waterfall..... so, they must be boxed in until it floods.. :D

We fished a week in Maine, hoping for our biggest smallmouths yet. We caught some of about two pounds, came home, and the next day hit a crik in Warren County. I caught a smallmouth about an ounce over four pounds (19 3/8 inches), and my son got one nearly 3 1/2 (18 inches).
