Pine Barren Monster

I hit my spot in the pines today. It started out slow but when it was on it was on. Ended with a dozen pickerel, 7 crappie and this monster bass. She hit on a flat in about a foot of water with nowhere to go but away from the boat. One of the best fights I ever had with a fish!

Beautiful. EVery year I hope to catch one about that big, but it's happened only once in the last 15 years. So many 18-inchers, but very few over 20.
