I have four Granddaughter's that love fishing....I take two at a time to various lakes, where they keep me busy all day....Girls love releasing all fish, and watching them swim away....I spend most of my time in the Salt with two Buddies....

Nice, you sound like a caring grandfather. Tight lines to you and the girls.

This is great! My grandfather took me fishing for the first time many many years ago, he has since passed but his introduction to this hobby is something I will always be grateful for and will never forget. We had great times together when I was a kid and I think about it every time I go fishing.

.

That's really awesome. In these times when most kids are completely absorbed into their smart-phones, it's great to see kids engaged in outdoor recreation.

My grandparents didn't fish. They didn't do much of anything. Just sat in front of the television and smoked all day. Well, I guess you can't choose your parents or grandparents...

Very nice! My PopPop fished the salt and passed the love of fishing down to my father and our family. I hope my daughter takes a shining to it when she gets older, I'd like to do the same.

You must have a lot of patience, though. LOL, I'm sure you've mastered the art of untangling lines and birdsnests.

Ah the duranautic. Had like a 1980 16' blue side console with a 20 hp with 9.8 decals for spruce run and round valley courtsey of mac's
In washington nj. Boat totaled in the navisink river by sailboat under power. Miss that boat. Just came back from canada passed through marathon ny on i81 where duranautics are made
