Oustanding effort by our Hackettstown Hatchery crew! Seining and stocking hundreds of broodstock Channel Catfish this week averaging 10 pounds each heading for places like Furnace Lake, Ocquittunk, Ames, Mount Hope, Ryker, Ponderlodge, Birch Grove.
It's not too late to buy a freshwater fishing license!!

This biggest channel cat I caught this year was about six pounds. I wouldn't mind catching a 10+ pounder!
