Monster rainbow trout!!!

On Saturday...I took my son to the Teen Angler event at Pequest Trout Hatchery. I cannot say enough nice and great things about this event. Kids were allowed to fish in the education pond for three hours for free. And, they had a raffle at the end of the day where my son won two rods and two reels. He ended up catching a 23 1/2" rainbow that weighed 9.8 pounds. To say that he was happy after reeling in that fish is an understatement. He ended up catching 13 rainbows and had an absolute blast. The guys at Pequest ran the event and did a great job and my son had a blast. Pics below...
