we started out saturday at 5am,loaded for big stripers.first spot we hit was a dude with the only thing to show for our two hour investment was a 12" bullhead.so we pick up and hit plan b spot.anchor up at 7:20 and its game on with everything but hybrids.we had the smb going nuts for an hour catching
14 between 7 inches and 21" 3lb 4oz.we had walleye's to 20",big yellow and white perch and some real slab crappie that were all released to fight another day.we headed in around 11 to avoid the midday madness.we headed out around 6pm as the lake was calming down.we fished a different spot and had our lines in at 6:20.again we caught everything but what we were after.fished until
9pm and headed for the barn.i got up at 11:30am and fished off the dock till 1am with only had 3 white perch and a crappie.sunday we left the dock at 5am and headed to new location were they had caught some saturday.we anchor up at 5:20 and have our first striper in ten minutes.we then began a steady pick of
them from 5-7.03lbs{4th place winner}.this fishing lasted till 10am but within that time the stripers came up twice and it was out of control fishing with 3 and 4 rods going off at once.there were 4 boat fishing this area and all had the hands full most of that time.we wrapped it up at 11am and headed in as the lake started to take on the"washing machine" effect.gotta love those hybrids and how they fight.a big thanks to the Kneedeep club for all they do on lake hopatcong.
