Here's how I prefer to jig for fluke...no rigs/teasers, just a single jig. This is the reason I used to show up at 3am on Misty Morn to grab the pulpit!

Haha why thank you! For whatever reason when I record voiceover for my videos I'm pretty zen...but on the water I'm yelling and cursing like a sailor (esp when I miss a fish) :)

Another nice vid, thanks again Roger. I use Jerry C/Skippy's rubber band trick and it works !! But I ain't giving up my teaser . . .

I never liked a teaser, and now that I fish from an inflatable hobie...definitely single hooks only. Tight lines Larry!

Reason awesome video and tips! Great idea with the rubber band, never saw that done or thought about doing it. Always adjusting gulp on the buck tail especially the thicker swimming shad. Elastic band is a great idea to maintain hook gap and keep the gulp in place. Good stuff, thanks for sharing!

Thanks! The rubber band isn't foolproof, but it does buy you some time on short strikers. Also lets you rig a mauled-up gulp longer.
I buy them at CVS in the hair products section!
