The swing impact fats are stellar soft plastics. Rigged weightless on a worm hook slow rolled, rigged with a weighted corkscrew worm hook slow rolled, rigged with a round or minnow jighead slow rolled or as trailers for chatterbaits--they flat out produce. I've taken some big smallies and walleyes on these the last few years. They're scented and salt impregnated plus their slots and ribs hold additional attractant should you opt to season your baits further. 3.3 to 4.8s have been my go to sizes. With all of the available sizes and colors they allow you to really match the hatch. Unlike many other soft plastic swimbait or paddle tail type baits, fish really hold onto these.
Plus they work great in the salt too for stripers and offshore around the pots for mahi!

BIG fan of keitechs myself, have them in several different looks and sizes. Soft composition really swims nice though I do get the paddle tail bite offs with the longer ones (for some reason the fat impacts aren't as productive for me). Used to throw out the bite offs til I realized they'd work good on ned rigs and I could split the remaining tail for flutter presentations. Glad to see they're getting into frogs and creature baits too. Usually order mine online in bulk but you can bet the next time I'm in your area I'm leaving the store with a big bag!
