I've been trying to post this pic for more than a week and it just worked now. 5/26/2017 I caught and released a 22" tiger muskie in the Millstone River with a 1/32 oz jig and 2 lb test line. The fish was hooked in the tip of the upper lip outside the teeth. It made spectacular leaps and fast runs. When I grabbed it, the fish wiggled out of my hand several times. They are very slippery and lively.

Soooooooooooo, there ARE fish in the Millstone other than carp.

Damn dude... Not only is that a good catch on a good setup but it's nice to see more musky from that river

I know F&G stocked tigers in Carnegie a few years back. I wonder if this is from Carnegie or from the Canal...

Excellent job man! Must of been a hell of a fight. Unreal with the the 2 lb fluro too. I got mine with 8 lb mono. I still don't know how i gill plated mine having no experience handling a musky before. Those teeth are a little intimidating at first.
