hands down the best bass fishing i've ever had this past weekend! My buddy and i took a while to key in on them but we found them at the perfect stage of pre-spawn probably just days away from bedding and super aggressive.
We hammered them on straight retrieve reaction baits for hours! The wind kicked up and made boat control a pain so my catch rate suffered but between the two of us we landed 51 bass including the big ones pictured up to 20" and many more not pictured between 16-18 inches (many small ones too).
just to cap off the memorable trip to make sure we really never forgot it, the wind made the evilest swell i've ever seen in freshwater and we had to head back into it face first and took water over the sides the whole time. I had to bail out with a poland spring water bottle the whole ride while my buddy paddled along with the trolling motor to try to beat the head wind and get back to the ramp faster....quite the experience haha thought we might have to beach it a few times.
And yes, that is a 'BO KNOWS' sleeveless t-shirt!
