Speaking of ice cold, I did see 3 guys in a boat downstream of the Gap yesterday.They were in the area where you get your first good look at the river by that sharp bend on 80. Looks like they were anchored up. Just seeing them made turn the heat up a little higher as i was driving.

There have been boats in that hole all winter long. I'm assuming walleye.

Must be something congregating there. Maybe catfish?
I've seen footage on youtube of train cars submerged beneath the water there. They fell in the water after an accident on the tracks and were never recovered.

Very nice bass!
And yes, any old submerged cars or trains or anything of that sort would be perfect for tons of catfish to hide in year round. Actually I wish I knew where those train cars were in the D. river - it would be a very reliable spot for catfish trips :D
