some did well some not so well.the conditions were tough to say the least.we had strong winds, tides and all the snow you wanted.we read them good on the machine but they just would not bite.i jigged all day and ended up with 2 cod and 3 pollock, all keepers.some had 7-8 fishing and down from there.we could not drift as the wind just kept building all day.capt and crew did all they could
but the fish just had other plans.i give the crew a big"job well done"as they made sure everyone was taken care off.the capt moved around allot trying to find some cod that would bite but we would just pick and pluck a few fish from each spot.if we had decent weather i'll bet we would have done much much better.the cook made sure that there was always hot coffee and the food was great as always.i for one will be going back again soon.

would only take 6 to 7 hours as long as the seas cooperate.really works out
good giving plenty of time to rig,eat and sleep.i can tell you after jigging all day the ride home was short as i slept most of the trip.

Why do you guys give the NON SPONSORED BOAT that does not support this site credit ? Just saying

Thought fishing was about sharing info and experiences just because a particular boat is not a sponsor doesn't mean someone shouldn't share.
Not every boat is a sponsor
Not every sponsor runs a good operation
Just sayin

oh brother.. geez, they never even mentioned the name of the boat, although everyone knows very well which boat it is.. Besides, unless something has changed, the "other" boat owned by the capt IS a sponsor.. just sayin'....bob

1st i would like to apologize to any sponsors if this was distasteful in anyway as it was never meant to be.this is about cod fishing and that is all.
we only caught cod, pollock,a few ling and some big cunners.we were only in 125-145ft of water.i don't thing the porgys or sea bass are that shallow in any numbers this time of year.hoping next trip we get some good weather so we can drift.
