I fished the North Branch through the snow flurries today hoping to put a bend in the rod, possibly for the last time in 2016 if the weather forecast is to be believed. Worked all afternoon and only landed one, a feisty yellow-bellied rainbow. Not great numbers today, but at least I got out to end the year on my terms.

I've been up and down the North Branch a million times, then you share a video and I am completely lost, funny how that works. Still my favorite river (stream) in New Jersey ! Thanx for the video !

Crazy how one stem is hot and the other not so much. At least you got out there before the deep freeze sets in. Great colors on the Bow!!!:D

P.S. Thanx for the great videos as always!!!

Glad to hear you still got 'em! I went out yesterday too. I was wearing a borrowed pair of waders which leaked and damn near lost a toe to the cold by the time I made it back to the car. Managed my PB rainbow on a #16 Blue Winged Olive though! Such a exciting fight on 7X tippet
