11/27 MUSHIN had the Mike Byrne charter aboard for a day of bass and bluefish. We found a nice pod of bunker and snagged and dropped our limit of unders of bass by 8am and then went into release mode with some jumbo blues mixed in. Largest bass was 42" which was released. The bait became hard to stay with so we moved on to the troll and grabbed more of both bass and blues totaling 10 blues and 15 bass all over 28" for the day! Another great day on the water !
11/26 MUSHIN hosted the Ishmael charter. On the menu were bass and bluefish. They did continue to cooperate. Today was different from yesterday's trip. We had everything on the troll. Landing over 15 bass with only 6 being larger than 28". Still managed to get the crew a (6 man) limit of unders and a handful of blues for the table. The crew hung in there and were rewarded! Thanks again guys !
11/25 MUSHIN bass and blues! We broke the inlet and had bass blowing up all over the place! Poppers jigs shads whatever you threw at them got inhaled! Fishing was very good until. The boat traffic pushed them down. We had our under boat limit by 8 am. We continued to fish and had to throw back numerous bass both shorts and keeper unders. No overs today but great fishing non the less.
No bonus fish in these catch photos. All 28" plus stripers. Thanks for reading!
