Pushed off at 0700 for a quick morning bass trip. Threw the mojos in until we found the life. First fish was a beautiful 32" bass with sea lice, a great sign. From then on we worked the same area with the shads. The 6" shads did not produced well so we decided to throw some bigger 9" ones. These proved To be the ticket today for us. Made sense because the one bass we kept for the table had an adult bunker in its stomach. They wanted the bigger profile shad

The striped ones liked the chartreuse and green ish tinted ones compared to white 3:1, the gators didn't care what it was. Lots of people throwing shads in our area weren't catching bass, presumably due to bait profile. Finished the day off at about noon with about 20 bass to 21# keeping a 30" bass for the table, and about 8 big nasty blues. What a great fall run
