Wanted to clear my mind a little yesterday, went to the Delaware R. again, but this time in the pm. Didn't know if they would bite but they sure did! Fished 5pm-8:30pm. Caught 6 walleye. A 16", a 17", another about 17", then a big one at 24" and about 5lbs, followed by a 15", and finally a 19" fish.

When i hooked the bigger one I thought i was about to catch a baby musky, because in the dark it was difficult to see exactly what it was far away! Just a faint flash of green every time the fish went sideways. Good evening fishing in the cold!

Nice, I fished a hole during the he afternoon, only pulled out a 15" and 17". They didn't seem ready to cooperate on the jig yet.

It's official. You have the walleye bug. Good luck sleeping now hahha! I was out last night too. Managed one 24" fish in an hr and a half. I think the big bright moon put a damper on my twilight action.

Very nice. Planning on going the 23rd and hope to bring back a Thanksgiving walleye...throw the rest back, lol. I haven't fished the river late in the season for walleye since 1978, when we caught in December, so, wow, have I had some time to dream. Now that I have the squareback canoe and my neighbor Mike has a 3 1/2 hsp. outboard...which I hope works or we'll see if my 55-pound electric gets us a little upstream...we can do this.

I just hope something hits.

Definitely try it in the dark, been having best luck after sundown or before sunrise when it's pitch black.
