Was hoping to get out on the salt Monday with Hopat hybrids being the plan B. 20 mph+ north wind killed those plans and there was no way I was gonna stay home on a day off. Took a ride out to the river we found a few spots out of the wind. Fishing wasn't stellar but we worked hard to get 6 eyes on the day, some yellows and a bunch of rockies. Nothing big on the day but still better than workin around the house.

Nice Wallys.
Sunday afternoon wasn't much better with the wind. Unless you had truly windproof garments on, the wind just blew right through your clothes and made it feel twenty degrees colder.
I was expecting the fish to have lockjaw with the cold front blowing in, but it actually wasn't too bad. The fish were still biting, especially in the evening.
