Sergeant Scott Seitz of the Plainsboro PD will give you an $80 ticket if you are parked in the Scudders Mills lot. The park closes at sunset. He is the only person that ever told me that fishing at night is illegal. I would think that NJOA, The Federation, BASS, NJ Fish and Wildlife or other pro fishing organizations would ask the Plainsboro PD to give fishermen a little leeway and start patrolling the parking lot a hour after sunset. Other Plainsboro policemen never told me that fishing at night is illegal, only Sgt Seitz.
