Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs

Our local PBA is sponsoring a fishing contest and Bar-Be-Que on October 15th 10am to 2pm. The contest will take place at the Glen Rock Duck Pond in Saddle River County Park, 658 County Rte S79 (Prospect St Glen Rock, NJ 07452.

Rules:
1. Registration is free and required. Call 551-580-1161 to register.

2. No license or trout stamp required. Everyone is encouraged to fish.

3. Participating youths aged 20 and under are eligible to receive event giveaways and prizes.

4. Participants must be present at the close of the event to receive a prize.

Bring the kids and enjoy the day, together.

We'll be there. That's a nice park for this event. I've fished that stream a few times but I'm not familiar where that pond is. Will the kids be fishing for stocked trout in the pond? Just making sure so we know what bait to bring. Thanks

I don't believe they will be stocking any Trout for this tournament. They recently renovated the pond and stocked it with Bass, Bluegills and ect. Those will be the species that will be targeted. The first prize is for the most species caught. Bait will be supplied on site. Please make sure you call the number and register.
