I have never fished the big pond but would like to give it a try this week. First off, is it safe to be out there during the week on a kayak? 2-Just a launching g point and a few pointers is all I ask. I don't do freshwater boat fishing or live close to there so you don't have to worry about me burning your stop. And of course I will share any info from fishing in my neck of the woods. I live in the Pohatcong area. Thanks.

first off be safe out there.stay away from the middle part of the lake during the day loaded with googans flying around.lakes end marina has a launch site small fee charged.also you can check out the state park.the lake has limited public access. at night you should use a head lamp or marker light and keep your eyes and ears open.coves that aren't wide across usually don't have much boat traffic. the oxygen level gets thin down around 16' to 20'. alot of weeds shallow to about 10' deep.weekends should be calming down soon.good luck and tight lines bro:cool:
