PUOSU Timing

I know there was a lot of lively conversations about doing the PUOSU later this winter, perhaps after the new year. That's when the serious tog fisherman come out etc...

Right now the regs are looking like July 17 – November 15 – 1 fish @ 15” ,
November 16 – December 31 – 6 fish @ 15”

If these regs stand, it looks like it's going to be December this year again.

Just a heads ups.

Saturdays in Dec are

12/3
12/10
12/17
12/24 which is Christmas eve so that's out
12/31 which is New Years eve so that's out too

Looks like our only choices are 12/3 for the qualifier and 12/10 for the final, or 12/10 and 12/17.. I'll start making some calls to check availability on the Mimi and OE and we go from there.

You no you can count on me to help in any way i can. I am thinking earlier in the month the fishing seems to be always better. As the later in the season you wait the bite seems to move further south. The dates are are pretty close together so i think you can not go to wrong with any of those dates based on availablity. You know you can count on me to help in anyway i can to make this another successful event.

Lol, I just thought Gerry knew something about the 2017 regs that we didn't know yet. If we were to drop down to a 1 fish limit in Jan. 2017 I guess I would have to move to Maryland or summtin?

Boy, I'm gonna miss not fishin the PUOSU. the ONLY other one I missed was when I was banned by LAB for shoving something long and yellow in his bag. You old timers will remember me being banned the following year. Dear old LAB boy could he hold a grudge:) in maybe PUOSU 3? Maybe 2?
