Caught the bass, not the salmon

And my wife expected super-fresh for a late dinner. One of them came less than inch from getting hooked as my son lifted the Binsky from the water boatside.... Super-sunny today, so tough. Two of our bass--though Matt lost this second one under the boat--came 25-30 feet down on Texas rigs, quarter- ounce bullets. Only five boated total, and I wonder how good if cloudy with a front coming through.
