Over the weekend, we fished north of shark river inlet. We saw fish on top with birds working on them and read fish along the bottom. We had nice long drifts where we picked away at the blues and had excellent fishing, along with super flurries at times. Ava 27’s & teasers worked best.
Saturday afternoon, we fished to east and had a nice pick of sea bass, ling and fluke and there was plenty of action. We ended up with a half dozen keeper fluke and 40 keeper sea bass!
Today, we had a repeat of the weekend. We started with excellent fishing tight on the beach this morning. We had a little lull mid morning so we took a ride north and had excellent fishing for the remainder of the day. We had a nice mix of blues, sea bass, and some fluke.
Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and every afternoon for our Family Fun and Sunset Cruise trip for fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. You may even catch a sighting of a whale or some porpoises and enjoy the fireworks in Point Pleasant on Thursday nights!
