8-21 Report
Fishing was excellent again Sunday.
We went back to where we left them biting yesterday but there were only a few readings and the fish did not bite.
We took a little ride to the north, on the way to another spot we ran over a giant giant School.
As soon as we stopped the boat they were biting.
We caught them on Jigs and teasers or bait. People were catching doubles, triples and even a few quadruples, but, most just finished with one or two hooks and caught all they wanted.
We caught a few bluefish, loads of mackerel, and several fluke.
The Pool winner was: Bill McGrogan from Levittown PA with a 3.5lb fluke.
It looks good for tomorrow.
8-20 Report
Fishing was excellent again today.
Our first two drops didn't produce much.
On the third stop we started picking away and it slowly built up until the fish were schooled around the boat and everyone was catching them.
We caught a few bluefish, loads of mackerel, and several Mahi-mahi.
The Pool winner was: John Meyer from Amherst, MA
If you want to bring the kids fishing or a novice fisherman, this is perfect, as there is plenty of action and the fish are easy.to handle.
