Big moon slow river last nite 8/20-8/21

Fished two hrs last night. The moon was so bright it cancelled out my head lamp. Hmmm...

Was very very slow. Managed two dink stripers about an hour apart on soft plastics. That was it. Prob gonna give it a rest for a few weeks as I'm sleepy finally. It only took 4 months to catch up with me haha...

Hoping something happens or wakes up offshore in the eastern canyons. Need some salt for a change!

I had a slow night on the river, too. Fished from 5:00 to 9:00 and only caught a small walleye and two yellow bullheads. I guess it's something with the lunar cycle.

Eaaaaasy now Lard. Let's not get crazy here! Hahaha! I could use a bait n wait evening or 2... bit more subtle vs pounding the shoreline for hours.
