Easy 10 mile float today, Rockafellows dam to the confluence. Put in around 9am and off the water just after 1pm. No rods on board today, just a father and son float trip. Some sections are pretty weeded over. Saw no shortage of smallmouth, largemouth, suckers and carp. River looked pretty good, the water was great for swimming. Had to grab a few along the way.......you know me.:D
Did see one adult Bald Eagle. Thanx for the shuttle kcritch !!

Nice job capt...no prob on the shuttle. The least I could do. Still can't believe you guys didn't even bring a rod. I would go nuts seeing fish and not throwing something at them. Glad you had a nice trip.

That's one way to beat the heat and kick ass on the river!! Some great dedication to leave the gear at home too!! It makes sense to me...Andy's just earning himself a secure seat for the ”big ride”, you guys know Indy has been filling in for St. Peter, right?

Both my son and step son LOATHE fishing !! The younger one is just coming off a vigorous 3 week rehab for drugs. Nice just to be outdoors getting high on life.
We swam, and floated in the canoe. 10 mile trip, piece of cake, my father was a lazy bastard, didn't even want to mow the lawn.

Good stuff to come. Making them is easy....bringing them up is a whole different game!!!
