It was really windy but had the hots to get out. I had no charter just me and a friend that fishes with me regularly. I wanted to search out a future meat trip to the Mud Hole. So off we went. It wasn't bad going out because there was a South wind and we had following seas. We found the wreck and there were fish on top, so we anchored up. First fish was a big Cod and then a few ling but that was because we saw how bad it was getting and within a half hour it was time to leave. So we ventured back all 16 miles but it was rough and we traveled no more than 10 miles an hour. I know I'm nuts but that is the reason I love fishing. The spots are scouted out and next week after the weather clears we will do a meat trip to the mud hole. Captain Joe 732-684-8739
