Really? Most of the ones i worked on were good trucks. Just keep up with general maintenance. There is always a few that people beat to death that are nothing but trouble but most of the ones that came in for repairs were not there for major issues.

Dayton Toyota if you need a dealer. Dom's Getty in Hightstown for a regular garage. Larry the owner fishes with us on the J2 and drives a Toyota truck. Nice guy and honest.

First gen 5.7L water pumps were junk. Front diff pinion bearing failures. Rear axle bearing failures. Trans tailshaft to transfer case seal failures. Upper radiator tank leaks. Air pumps inop (what a PIA to change!!!). Oil Sending unit leaks.
Thats just a few. Like I said, solid truck, but like any other, its got its issues. Still better than driving a Dodge product.....:p
