Well myself, Jigman, Bigboy and njflyfisher set up on the grounds! Lots of traffic, bathers and swimmers out and about on the river last night! Was there action? Yes? Njflyfisher got his first ever Flatty around 5 lbs! Congrats bro! Welcome to the River Monster network, although there were no MONSTERS caught last night!

I had great action last night getting 8 run offs in about 3 hours! Ahhhhhhhh, not so fast, FAST! I went 2-8 on these damn Flatties last night only landing 2 pinners! Landed 1 5 lber and 1 7 lber! They were running with the baits really good last night! Line was disappearing off the spools quickly! Good aggressive bites but they just wouldn't inhale my lucky baits! I don't get it sometimes! This rod was going off, that rod was going off but the hook up ratio was slim! I guess that's the way it goes sometimes! At least we know they're in the area waiting for our offerings next time! Til we meet again you Invasive FLATHEAD BASTARDS, til we meet again! And next time you will lose, and death will be certain.......................

TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!!!:D

Had a good time and caught my first flathead! Fish until about 1:45 with njflyfisher and jigman. None of the fish were huge but I got 3 flatheads and all of mine came within 30 mins. From 12:20 to 12:50am. Had one other run off that took alot of line out but never connected. Crazy how these fish can swallow such big baits. Thank you Eddie!!

I believe a lot of those run odds that don't connect are channel cats. Bit next time bring some sturdy rod holders and set the drag so the pole bends pretty good before the drag let's line out. The cats will sit with the bait instead if swimming off and will hook themselves

Congrats to everyone that went. Sounds like some pretty good action for this time of the year and it shpull only get better

It was a great night out there. There was many run offs that we didn't connect with but still managed to land some decent cats. Those guys sure put up a fight. Can't wait to get my hands on a big one!! Crazy how there would be times were no one was getting bit then everyone would get bites at the same time. Sure is an interesting fishery. Thanks Eddie!!

Eddie thanks for the impromptu meet and greet buddy! Good times for sure. Bigboy and njfly, good mtg you guys. You both have the drive to keep f'n casting! And that's what it takes! Between Eddie and these 2 guys I got schooled. I couldn't get a rip on my sunfish. The channel I managed slurped back a much softer bait.

Good times. Next time I'm bringing soap and towels for the Chicas at sundown hahaha!

I know some brackish cats in Florida can almost school up at times- or at least be in the same area of the water column-nice work boys!
